Product principle:

The mixture of water sample, atalys t solution and strong oxidant solution is heated to a specified temperature. Polyphosphate and other phosphoru-containi ng compounds in the water sample are digested and oxidized by the strong oxidant under acidic conditions of high temperature and high pressure to form phosphate radicals. In the presence of the catalyst, Phosphate ions form a colored complex in a strong acid solution containing molybdate. The monitor detects the color change and converts this change into a total phosphorus value and outputs it.
